Internal Press Release
Far Rockaway, NY December 1st, 2022
Menus allow merchants to leverage iOS to deliver interactive and immersive experiences with ease. What was once static sheets of paper, or PDFs, is now a platform used to gain customer insights.
How many times have you looked at a PDF menu, read a description, and still had no clue about what you were ordering?
Have you sat down for a date, where the waiter has to return to your table multiple times to place an order, because you just hate dealing with those QR code menus?
Through efficient UX/UI designs, menu items are no longer just text, they are now immersive pieces of content that gather insights for both customers and merchants. Customers can learn more about the items they have to offer through comments or trending items. Consequently, merchants can learn more about the items and make changes accordingly.Internal Press Release 1
QR codes are a nuisance, a worse of both worlds experience. Holding a physical menu is a better experience than having to take out your phone, scan a QR Code that opens a static PDF in a Web Browser that you have to zoom, then scroll. It’s like we gave up trading in delightful, native mobile experiences for static web browsing.Something tells me Jony Ive cringes every time he goes to dinner and has to interact with these codes.
With Menus, merchants design experiences in the main app. Customers interact with these designs by tapping their phones on SnapClips network signs that are installed at merchant’s stores. There are no downloads or sign-ups. That’s right, NO ONBOARDING for the customer. It’s just as easy as handing a physical menu to a customer.
